Yegros is a rural district of Caazapá Department, in the southern part of Paraguay's Región Oriental. Its community is organized around agricultural production, with a predominance of smallholder farming and small to medium-scale cattle ranching. The territory presents a landscape typical of the region, with open fields interspersed with fragments of native forest. Daily life in the district unfolds at a rural pace, with local commerce and basic services as the axes of urban life in its main settlement.
