Annex D — API and automated use

Last updated: 08/27/2026

This annex governs access to ViaParaguay's data by programmatic means, both through the official API and through any other form of automated access.

1. Who this applies to

This annex applies to any person or company accessing the ViaParaguay API, and equally to anyone accessing the site's content by any automated means, whether or not they hold a valid token.

It supplements the General Terms and Conditions, whose section on prohibited uses remains fully applicable.

General Terms and Conditions

2. Access and tokens

Access to the API requires a token, issued from the account dashboard and associated with an approved partner. There is no anonymous or public access to the API.

The token is personal and non-transferable. It must be safeguarded with the same care as a password: do not include it in code repositories, in client applications, or anywhere a third party could read it.

All activity carried out with a token is attributed to its holder. If you suspect it has been compromised, revoke it from the dashboard and generate a new one; you may do so as often as you need.

3. Permitted uses

The API is intended for legitimate integrations between a partner and the Platform. In particular, you may use it to:

  • Query and synchronise your own listings with your management system.
  • Display on your own website the properties or developments that you yourself publish on the Platform.
  • Measure the performance of your affiliate campaigns and reconcile your commissions.
  • Automate the upload and updating of your inventory, within the rate limits.

4. Prohibited uses

With or without a token, the following are prohibited:

  • Systematically extracting the property catalogue, the company directory or any other dataset that does not belong to you.
  • Reconstructing, in whole or in part, a database equivalent to the Platform's, whose selection and arrangement is protected under Law No. 1,328/1998.
  • Reselling, redistributing, sublicensing or publishing the data obtained for the benefit of a third party.
  • Using contact details obtained for commercial prospecting or unsolicited communications.
  • Circumventing rate limits through multiple tokens, rotating IP addresses or any other evasion technique.
  • Sharing the token with third parties or embedding it in a product others can use on your behalf.
  • Using the data to train artificial intelligence models without prior written authorisation.
  • Accessing, or attempting to access, undocumented routes, parameters or data, conduct that may fall under Law No. 4,439/2011 on computer crime.

5. Usage limits

The API applies request rate limits in order to protect the availability of the service for all partners.

Those limits may be adjusted without prior notice where necessary to preserve the stability of the Platform. Repeatedly exceeding them may result in temporary blocking of the token.

If your integration requires a higher volume than usual, write to us through the contact form before increasing the frequency and we will assess the case.

6. Attribution

When you display data obtained from the Platform on another site, you must state that the source is ViaParaguay and link to the original listing.

Use of the ViaParaguay name and logo must comply with the conditions in the brand guide. It is not permitted to present the integration in a way that suggests an association, endorsement or partnership that does not exist.

7. Personal data

If through the API you access personal data, such as that contained in user enquiries, you act as an independent controller in respect of it and are answerable for compliance with the applicable regulations.

The same obligations apply as those Annex A imposes regarding enquiries: use the data only for the purpose that prompted its delivery, do not transfer or resell it, and honour the rights exercised by the data subject.

8. Availability and changes

The API may be modified, versioned or discontinued. We will endeavour to give reasonable advance notice of breaking changes, but we do not guarantee indefinite backward compatibility.

The Platform does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the API or any particular response time. Your integration should allow for retries and degrade gracefully on error.

9. Suspension of access

We may suspend or revoke a token where these conditions are breached, where the usage pattern compromises the stability of the service, or where there are well-founded indications of unauthorised data extraction.

Suspension does not preclude the exercise of any applicable civil or criminal remedies, in particular in the cases covered by Law No. 4,439/2011 and by intellectual property legislation.

10. Contact

To request access, ask about the technical documentation or discuss a use case, write to us through the contact form.
