About Repatriación
Repatriación is a district in Caaguazú department whose name alludes to the return of Paraguayan families to the national territory, a recurring phenomenon in the country's history. The district is part of the network of agricultural colonies that spread through Caaguazú's interior during the twentieth century. The district's economy is structured around agricultural production: soybean and maize cultivation on medium-scale farms, complemented by cattle raising. Repatriación's agricultural vocation is consistent with the overall productive profile of the department.
