About Campo Aceval

<p>Campo Aceval is a district of the Presidente Hayes department situated in the southern Paraguayan Chaco. Its name evokes the open countryside typical of this plain and links the area to the figure of diplomat Benjamín Aceval, significant in the territorial history of Paraguay.</p><p>The local economy rests mainly on extensive cattle ranching across natural grasslands and cultivated fields. As in much of the Chaco, a scattered population and large distances between localities are defining features of the territory.</p>
