About Naranjal
Naranjal is a district in the department of Alto Paraná whose name evokes the historical presence of orange tree plantations in the area. It is located in the Eastern Region of Paraguay, within a department characterized by an eminently agricultural profile. Soybeans and other regional crops form the productive base of the district. Naranjal is part of the broad agricultural corridor of eastern Paraguay, where colonization during the twentieth century transformed the land into one of the country's most productive grain-growing territories.
