About José Falcón

<p>José Falcón is a district of the Presidente Hayes department situated in the southern Paraguayan Chaco. It bears the name of a figure from Paraguayan history and forms part of the extensive flat territory that characterises this Chaco department.</p><p>The predominant activity is extensive cattle ranching on large estates. The sparse population is distributed across scattered rural settlements, a reflection of the typical conditions of the Chaco interior with its wide open spaces and low occupancy density.</p>
