About Borja
Borja is a district in the Guairá department in eastern Paraguay. Its Spanish-origin name is representative of the colonial heritage present in many localities of the country's interior. The district has a rural character with an agricultural economy linked to the crops and livestock practices typical of the department. It is part of the constellation of rural communities that make up Guairá, one of the departments with the strongest cultural identity in eastern central Paraguay.
