About Corpus Christi
Corpus Christi is a district in the department of Canindeyú, in northeastern Paraguay. Its name, rooted in Latin and Christian religious tradition, is representative of the influence of evangelization on the naming of settlements in Paraguay's eastern region during the colonial period. Agricultural activity, with soybean cultivation predominating, defines the productive profile of the district in line with the agricultural vocation of the department as a whole. The demographic dynamics of Canindeyú, marked by the presence of communities of Brazilian origin, also extend to this district.
