About Natalicio Talavera
The district of Natalicio Talavera pays tribute to the nineteenth-century Paraguayan poet and journalist, a prominent figure of national culture. The name reflects Guairá's tradition of honoring its intellectual and cultural figures through place names. A rural locality set within the agricultural landscape of the department, the district shares the productive vocation of the region with crops typical of eastern Paraguay. Its natural surroundings form part of the green corridor that characterizes Guairá at the heart of the country.
